It’s a shame Newgrounds (the community, at least) discourages uploading sketches outside of blog and forum posts, a lot of the sketches I saw are top-notch!

Also, I’m jealous of your job. I always come home both physically tired from constantly pushing carts in a massive parking lot and mentally drained from my “lifer” co-workers and old ladies constantly complaining about everything from politics to gas prices to health problems to people getting into accidents/murders to freakin’ Will Smith and Chris Rock for 9 hours a day. Thankfully I at least negotiated a part-time, fixed schedule so that I can spend the rest of my time working on fun commissions (although I’m booked for the rest of this year, sorry…).

Don't be, because I actually quit that job a while ago- they were loading everyone with more work than promised, asked unreasonable things, etc. I even started the process for taking them to tribunal because some of the things they did were blatantly against the law, but so many things happened all at once (partner cheated, exams, quit my job, family issues) that I dropped it. When they say some months feel like a decade they're right. I was in a dark place for a bit, but I've bounced back somewhat and doing a lot better now.

But enough about that. Thanks for the kind words! I look forward to seeing what kind of work you do.

@FlikkiShassART Okay, wow, that puts things into perspective. I’m merely annoyed at some of my co-workers (who isn’t?) and need to do a better job surrounding myself with positivity on the hours and days I don’t work (or do work on more-fulfilling freelance stuff) so that I don’t burn out. Hope things continue to improve for you and that you get to do more of what makes you happy!

Thank you, that means a lot. Sorry if I came across in a wrong way, I didn't mean to one-up you and make it seem like your grievances weren't important or anything like that- I understand how life-draining that kind of job can be.

Recently I've been going regularily to a nice cafe I like and just sitting there in the sun for a few hours, which has been really making me happy and helping with the art and school burnout.
